The Latest 2018 Version of Umarex (VFC) HK UMP .45ACP GBB is Released and More Intel
Umarex just released their latest version (Let’s call it 2018 3rd Version or the Verson 2.1) of HK UMP .45ACP GBB, which is made by VFC. This is the third time VFC upgrade its UMP.45 GBB (the new version after UMP9 GBB released), the minor update as below for this 3rd version:
⢠Upgraded some steel internal parts
⢠Upgraded easier adjustable Hop-Up system
⢠Ambidextrous fire selector lever that is user friendly to both left and right handed
⢠Extra Rail Set of 3 Picatinny Rails
What we found more in this version, it comes with an extra rail set of 3 Picatinny rails for UMP GBB, which on the right, left, and bottom of the handguard. This is not happened in previous two versions of UMP.45 GBB, the rail set even not included in the DX Version(which comes with a HK .45 marking Silencer and top rail), the front end rail set still sold separately.
2018 new released UMP.45 GBB
As well known, the 2nd version of UMP .45 GBB’s releasing fixed a lot of problems version 1 had, they upgraded a new bolt carrier and some steel internal parts, improved magazine gas efficiency and more. Then UMP9 GBB released, as we tested before, UMP9 GBB is compatible with an UMP.45 GBB magazine, same, UMP.45 GBB works fine with an UMP9 GBB magazine. So we believe there shouldn’t much difference between 3rd UMP.45 and UMP9 GBB in internal parts update, except exterior marking etc.
As we can find on VFC official website, the item no. shows the difference (links on image):
